The Two Babylons is a book written by Presbyterian Free Church of Scotland Theologian Alexander Hislop in 1853. In the book Hislop argues that the Catholic church is the Babylon of the Apocalypse described in the Bible, cited in the book of Revelations. He traces many of the Church’s Holiday’s and traditions back to Pagan origins and compares the religion to that of the ancient religion of Babylon.
